PhD scholarships

Overview

We offer several PhD Scholarships, which provide a stipend in the disciplines of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, Biomedical Engineering,  Electrochemistry, Sensor Technology to work with industry partners. Each PhD scholarship is $34,013 per year for 3 years to support research activities (additional project funds may be available, subject to availability).

Eligibility

These scholarships are available to potential and current students at one of our partner universities who meet the minimum entry requirements for PhD programs (these vary between faculties and universities); at a minimum, this includes:

  • domestic or international students; and
  • have applied for admission to a PhD or Professional Doctorate by Research program; and
  • have a Bachelor’s degree with first-class Honours or equivalent
  • Meet English language requirements
