Energy and Data Management Solutions

Energy

Efficient sources for wearable sensors are an immediate challenge for making small wearable devices. Commonly used batteries operate in narrow temperature ranges. They have limited capacity, making the trade-off between replacement/charging frequency and battery size a key factor affecting the uptake of wearable sensors.

This Theme, Energy and data management solutions, brings together experts to develop novel self-powered sensors with flexible and lightweight batteries with extended life at greater temperatures.
