Governance

The structure of the Hub governance ensures organisational transparency and that the highest standards of operations are followed in the operations and performance of the Hub’s research and mission. The Hub is managed under the University of New South Wales (UNSW) as the Administering Organisation, with the Hub Executive having executive function and oversight of the Hub’s operational activities, engagement, and delivery of the Hub’s research program.

Two other Committees: Research Committee represent the voice of Chief Investigators and the Industry Committee, Partner Investigators from Partner Organisations (Industry). These committees report back to the Executive with both the Hub Deputy Directors as the leads for these two committees. The External Advisory Board is established to provide the Hub Executive with high-level strategic advice and recommendations.

External Advisory Board

Our External Advisory Board is an independent board of experts that provide advice and guidance for achieving the Hub’s overall mission. The Advisory Board reports to the Hub Executive by offering knowledge, providing feedback on the research approach.  Members are appointed, and membership of the Board is reviewed and updated as necessary.

Hub Executive

The Hub Executive has the overall responsibility to lead and oversee the general management and operations of the Hub activities. Membership includes the Hub Director, Deputy Directors, Theme Leaders and the Hub Manager.

Research Committee and Industry Committee

These groups support the Hub Executive with risk management, general and operational activities of the Hub. Members include one industry partner representation for the Industry Committee and lead Chief Investigators for the Research Committee.
