Tianshu Liu is pursuing her PhD at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). She completed her Bachelor of Engineering at East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) and her Master of Philosophy at QUT. In her previous studies, Tianshu investigated the mechanical and electrical properties and phase transition processes of piezoelectric fluoropolymers using Molecular Dynamics Simulations.

During her PhD research, Tianshu continues her investigations on piezoelectric fluoropolymers, focusing on developments of force fields based on Quantum Mechanics databases using Machine Learning tools. Tianshu’s work in this area holds the potential to produce force fields with robust transferability and enhanced accuracy, providing a general methodology for developing force fields in a wide range of polymers.
