Dr Ren Wang is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UNSW Sydney specialising in wearable medical sensing technologies. His research focuses on translating flexible electrochemical and capacitive sensing platforms into mechanically stable, application-ready wearable systems.
He develops nanostructured sensing materials, compliant bioelectronic interfaces, and integrated acquisition architectures for continuous physiological monitoring. His work emphasises signal stability under dynamic mechanical conditions and system-level validation in wearable configurations.
Dr Wang collaborates with industry partners to advance laboratory-validated sensing technologies toward manufacturable prototypes and early-stage commercial translation in digital health applications
