Nikhilesh Bappoo is a biomedical engineer, innovator and Co-Founder of Western Australian medtech companies VeinTech and Lubdub.
His work focuses on translating real clinical needs into practical technologies that improve patient care and clinical workflows. Through VeinTech, he is developing devices to improve the success of intravenous (IV) access, while Lubdub focuses on next-generation cardiac monitoring technologies.
Nikhilesh trained at The University of Western Australia and Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, and in 2025 received the Prime Minister’s Prize for Science – New Innovators for his contributions to medical technology innovation in Australia.
