Hoang-Phuong Phan

Dr Hoang-Phuong Phan is a Senior Lecturer, and an ARC DECRA fellow at the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. He received the B.E and M.E. degrees from the University of Tokyo, Japan in 2011 and 2013, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Griffith University, Australia in 2016.

His research interest includes low-dimensional electronics, wide band gap semiconductors, and micro/nanosensors, with an emphasis on wearable and implantable applications. Prior to the current position, Dr Phan was a visiting scholar at the XLAB, Stanford University, CA, USA in 2017, and the Rogers research group, Northwestern University, IL, USA in 2019. Through the hub, Dr Phan will develop micro/nano fabrications, device packaging, and integration of physical/chemical sensors.
