Aaron Parker

Aaron Parker is a PhD Candidate in the field of Design, conducting his research from Fastlab, located within the University of Newcastle. Since completing his Bachelor(hons.) degree in 2021, his work has seen him develop several public facing NTROs that explore metrics of evaluating usability in public facing art interventions.

As a member of the ARC Hub team, Aaron’s research focuses on evaluating and creating User Experiences & Interfaces, to support advanced domestic sensor technology development. Through his efforts, he hopes to achieve a framework for evaluating the usability of Sensors designed for wellbeing, to encourage people to complete at home therapies. This framework he has named, STIMulation.
